During the last decade Henrico Division of Recreation and Parks has been a definite leader in introducing hundreds and hundreds of players to Pickleball.
Now is a terrific opportunity for the Department to lead once again by building 1, 2, or 3 outdoor Pickleball sites.

It would be great to have outdoor pickleball courts in Henrico County. I think Deep Run Park would be a really good place for some courts.

8 pickleball courts fit into an area just marginally greater than 2 tennis courts. Not even new construction may be needed. No major expense either, just replace 2 of the many tennis courts out there and job is done. Come on Henrico!

There are many Pickleball players in Henrico. I believe a facility would be supported very well.

When I started playing pickleball 3 years ago there weren't many players, and the outdoor facilities were minimal. There was basically temporary tape on a few tennis courts.
Pickleball is a low cost sport, surely the County could afford a few thousand dollars from the parks and recreation bond issue ,that passed last fall, to support this growing sport that has been embraced by man
Y Henrico seniors.

It would really be nice if we could have a nice outdoor park for Pickleball play. It would be nice to come out and play at anytime. I'm ready to experience more outdoor play. Please help.
