It is very shortsighted for any local authority to reject planning applications for railway planning permissions which will stimulate tourist interest and thus income into the local area.

This project is important for long term tourist industry. The rejection of the railways plans would be very short sighted. It has been shown that preserved railways have been very popular with families and this railway once established will produce the same benefits as other in the UK
