This is a reasonable development to support railway heritage and tourism in West Cornwall.

The Parish Councils must be very short-sighted. They should take a look at other branch line redevelopments in other parts of the country that have been approved (if only walkways or cycleways) to the benefit of everyone. Take note P.Cs and think again!

This railway has the potential to increase tourism to the area and should be encouraged.
The other benefits (wider roadsetc) can only benefit everyone.

The proposals are decidedly beneficial to the local area and should go ahead

The planning applications relating to the Helston rail project are worthy of deeper consideration in terms of potential increased income generation through job creation and employment diversification---not to mention tourist income.

Heritage railways bring people, tourism, money and jobs to local areas, the rejection is insanity.

Having seen the benefits of the preserved railway near me; it's a shame the local councils are so narrow minded and reject your application for planning permission.
I will be down in May to enjoy the pleasure of a trip on the railway.

From the very start you have had permission problems !
Why didn't you get everything in writing before you started. "madness"
I wish you all the best but i don't think you will win them all as the locals are against you.

It is important that the Helston Railway is given the assistance they need to get this tourist attraction up and running.

This is undoubtedly a good project for the area, it will bring the history of the local railway alive for those who are too young to know it and it will be a be a tourism attraction for people coming to the area on holiday. Cornwall needs these enterprises to keep the tourism interest fresh and encourage return visits.

I feel this is a very good project for the area & cornwall as a whole. Holiday makers bring a lot of money into Cornwall & the County depends on it. Anything as good as The Helston Railway should be supported
