As it stands now, the FIJI chapter at Washington and Lee University is approximately three times as far from a Traveller stop as any other fraternity. We are around a third of a mile from the nearest Traveller stop, the BDG quad. The next furthest fraternity is Chi Psi at just a tenth of a mile. In addition, over two thirds of our walk is down public streets completely outside of "protected" areas like campus or Davidson Park. We find it exceptionally unfair that our brothers and guests should be forced to risk their safety and be forced to increase their risk of negative police interaction.
