Now the Portuguese state wants to change Zumba® From dance to sport that can be only taught by People that went to university and in health clubs! Many honest instructors will loose their jobs and will be unemployed!
Please help me to convince Zumba®, the company, to declare the activity officially as a dance AND to stop the Portuguese state to make this change from dance to Sport!

The emails from instructors who fear for their livelihoods keep piling up and it is exhausting to read how much is at stake for them. I am still pushing for a response from the company because this reclassification is simply not sustainable for the people who actually teach these classes.

Reaching this point has been exhausting but watching the momentum grow gives me a reason to keep fighting for these instructors. It is clear that I am not the only one who sees how dangerous this reclassification truly is.

Para mim, zumba é festa. Uma festa onde se dança, e se enche a alma de alegria. Não conheço outros desportos onde se esteja permanentemente a sorrir... Aqui não há competições, mas há partilha. E muita, de alegria!!!
Fui para o zumba porque adoro dançar! por favor não nos tirem a nossa instrutora ! Ela nos faz bem a alma,faz com o coração...Quantas tem curso superior e não sabem nos ensinar e ela é boa em tudo e preocupasse se aprendemos ou não!!! Zumba para mim é simplesmente dança , não o faço como desporto, mas como dança mesmo...
Desporto??? Por favor... Quando se entra numa aula de Zumba é uma festa isso assim... Ganha-se cor , outra alma! Esqueçes-mos o dia duro de trabalho.. um mau dia quando o temos... e temos o momento de divertimento... Mas porque arranjam sempre mania de tirar o bom que se tem a alguém???? Já existe tanta dificuldade na vida , no dia a dia, pk insistem em complicar e dificultar mais...
Don't take the jobs from Zumba instructors - it's a fun way to be healthy don't ruin it with bureaukracy!
This is unfair and will take the job from many instructors who spread love and joy to the Zumba dancing portuguese people
Zumba é dança e é uma maneira linda e divertida de fazermos o que mais gostamos: DANÇAR . não nos tirem alguns dos melhores instrutores que muitos tiveram !!

I understand, that instructors should be able to teach the dancers the right way and show them how to avoid mistakes, which can be bad for your health. This is what I expect from an excellent instructor. It´s up to every instructor to become excellent. Let people decide themselves, if they do just sports or if they want to DANCE and have FUN! You´d be surprised...!
