These mergers should not be allowed. The future of quality care that is affordable will become harder to acquire. I think it is ironic that the majority are so called non profit and sponsored by religious entities. Any god you believe in would not be a part of this greed.

Do not change services to our community offered by St. Francis and don't change benefits and compensation of staff at St. Francis.

We need more non profit health care. Greedy corporations are ruining our health care system.

Keep the Saint in Saint Francis. Compassion in healthcare is still a two way street for both patient and caregiver.

Pope Francis would agree that nurses deserve a voice in the workplace to advocate for quality patient care.

Accessibility and affordability are important for the community. Being considerate of the workers needs is important as well.

Ascension Healthcare has officially taken over St. Francis Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The workers are joining together to keep our voice in the workplace and we need your help to make sure we succeed in keeping the Southside strong. As a community, we need to join together to ensure that Ascension will continue to operate the facility as a responsible corporate owner. The 1200 employees are Milwaukee area residents. We participate in the local economy and many of us live in the nearby neighborhoods. Any type of layoffs, service closures, or other drastic or even moderate changes to our hospital, could potentially have severe ripple effects throughout the community. We need your support to ensure that the Southside remains strong. If you would like to join or get more information on our "Keep the 'Saint' in St. Francis" campaign, please visit www.wfnhp.org.
