Guys I don't go to Lae but I've passed this around and so far we've got 180+ more signatures. My sister (Foridha Khatun year12) goes to Lae and told me about everything and the anti-extremist etc assembly's. In Sha Allah all this will stop, I haven't heard of a school be this Islamophobic especially in an area where there's such a high Muslim population.

We are all living humans, living and breathing in the same air. So why should we disrespect and neglect our own kind just because we have an advantage over them?
We should be able to express our diversity in culture and embrace it through society without being held down. Therefore, a prayer room should be at least present to allow our fellow Islamic followers to worship our God.
Learning is a factor in life; but so is religion and we shouldn't have to sacrifice our beliefs for something so simple as this.

Everyone has the right to practice their faith. Unacceptable that the students are being restricted to their freedom to practice it.

It is vital that a college with such high ratings to consider the fundamental pillars of society, it is very concerning that the academy of excellence has not provided that space. It is the role of the educational intitution to develop the mind of the young person and integrate them into society through space, not by creating a division. How can a college with such a great name be blind to diversity and human rights? #young minds are bright minds.

This should not have to be discussed through a petition forum. What happened to embracing different cultures and faiths.
LAE should live upto to their values and not have merely a statement in their college booklets encouraging diversity.
