100% behind you guys, all the Newvic prayer room students support you on this, and if help is needed contact us InshaAllah. Not keen on what was written about British values as those very "values " (which can't actually be defined) are the justifications for why our public institutions want us to compromise are Islamic values until we have no Islam left. Outside pressure needs to be put on lae asap from all angles, I suggest you guys use social media a lot to raise awareness as well. And never stop making du'a. May Allah aid you all in fulfilling your Islamic duties, and accept this from you.

It is a person's basic human right to practice his or her religion to develop spiritually. Not only it is the basic practice of democracy but it is also the duty of the college to provide facilities for prayer.
Given that the majority of students are Muslims, why is the college neglecting the basic human right of prayer. This is Britain not China.

Please dont burden gifted young adults with problems for finding a place to pray. If there's concern about extremism have a teacher present to ensure students are just praying. Male teachers for male students and female teachers for female students.
