Plenty of nurseries, schools and community groups in the area to make best use of the remaining green space.

we need to retain some sort of identity with our heritage in this area , it wasn't always pubs take out and bookies

as kids we used to go down nearly every sunday to see the animals so its fiting it should be kept for animals albeit dogs'

It would really make a difference to the thousands if dogs needing shelter. So many would be save from being PTS. Extremely worthwhile project.

This is an excellent idea and a much better use of the once brilliant zoo .. I remember it as Calderpark and visited many times as a child. Please use the land more wisely. No more housing or flats. Homes for homeless dogs and a green space - far more important to the well being and health of everyone!!

Wild animals should run free, however some dogs have been humanised by us lot and need a rescue.
