Greenville needs an Olympic Size Ice Rink! We really need 2 Olympic Size Sheets of Ice at the Pavilion like we were told we were getting. Now we have Many Many figure skaters driving every week out of state to skate at an ice rink. They are spending money out of state for ice time, coaching fees, food and hotels. Greenville is losing out on all of this money! We need to have an OLYMPIC size rink! If we don't get an Olympic size rink, people will continue to drive out of state to Atlanta or Charlotte. Columbia has an Olympic size rink and Charleston has 2 Olympic size rinks. Why can't Greenville have one? If you build it, they will come!

The county really should find this ice rink. The skaters work really hard and it would be a waste for them to have to drive that far of a distance or potentially quit. The ice rink needs to be fixed.

This ice is a valuable way of giving adults and children fun and exercise. There is no reason the county can justify letting it be ruined in this manor. Keep these activities available and you'll find less illegal activities happening

Perhaps this sudden closing of the rink will be a lesson to the county to establish an ongoing fund as part of the budget for regular and timely maintenance.

I am a figure skater and it's not fair that this was supposed to be fixed 15 years ago. And now that the issue has to be faced the council just brushed it off

Ever since I was a child my school would have field trips to this rink, in 3-4 grade, my friend has always skated here and done competitions with it, and now she has to drive hours to find a good rink, also I have been coming here since I could stand, we really want it back.
My friends that ice skate do not deserve this.
