As a proud Crim alum and KC resident/Chiefs fan, I agree that the stadium needs to be named Curley Cup Memorial Stadium!

Curley was a dear friend and I had the honor to be with my husband, Tim Painter when Curley was inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame. This is a huge honor to have Curley, an outstanding Yuma Criminal.

I played quarterback for Kofa High in 1964. The crosstown rivalry game against Yuma High was the game of the year. I remember it well was tackled several times by Curly, he was a monster, truly a stud. Definitely deserves all honors .

One of the greatest athletes to come out of Yuma County. I’m glad I got to meet and talk with him at the Yuma High 100th celebration.
