Should have the musos dressed up as pokie machines, then they will allow it post haste.

Look at just how fortunate we are ...... to have the rare gift of (gratis) live music, by the seaside, waves lapping the shore, creating an aquatic back-beat, all the while supping world class cuisine. Policy makers I implore you to please send the world a positive message of welcome to our sunny shores of Caloundra, not one of a village by the ocean tangled in a vortex of archaic legislation.

We need to encourage the arts (including live music) to show our children that there can be a structured career beyond TV talent shows.

This cost and ridiculousness factor combined with ludicrous noise restrictions is destroying the music and fun industry all over Australia. Music is a 100% natural, proven way of rewiring and healing the brain from trauma amongst other things. Supporting live music makes sense not dollars!

Our local musos should always have the opportunity to be heard! So much talent and so much to offer.. and we are the ones who get to benefit from their gifts. Unnecessary laws... they need to be changed!

The amount of red tape is totally totally ridiculous, and just a money raising rort.
For gods sake, just sit out the front of the shop and play a guitar.
If there is a complaint about noise, handle it then. Or, supply a permanent buskers license, that can have the name changed every week.
Help the musicians instead of hindering them thanks. Queensland does have a reputation for not being progressive, so this is one situation that you could disprove that theory.

There should be more avenues to hear live music.
