Come on Queensland! What could be better than live music by the beach? Please cut the red tape and allow culture to thrive

The life music is a lot less obtrusive than a lot of recorder music I hear in cafés and restaurants. Local artists need to be able to play small venues like these to get started. The live music provides a really special ambience.

Bring it down to what it is......encouraging youth to do something worthwhile and at the same time providing entertainment to locals and tourists, both Australian and international.

Cafes particularly those on the beach front should be able to have open air music as long as bellow the regulation volume

The music on a friday night after a big week is what draws me to go to this cafe. As well as it being a friendly place to be.

Ridiculous that you have to jump through hoops so that you can provide a good service/atmosphere to locals and visitors

Your business adds to our community, especially hosting talented artists who add such a great atmosphere to the Kings Beach area. Such a shame you cannot showcase the talent you have sourced without financial penalty and significant delays. I hope your petition is successful because I personally love listening to music at your venue.

Let's get logical about this. There is no harm caused to anyone by live music. My husband and I regular visit coffee cat to enjoy the local artist. The music is not loud ,intrusive in any way and provides a wonderful atmosphere for visitors and locals to enjoy. Why would anyone create unnecessary red tape.

Kings Beach needs this, home of the Caloundra Music Festival & lets help small business - surely things do not need to be this complicated. Support easier processes & common sense. Keep strong & stay focused Coffee Cat.

We should be enabling small businesses, not blocking them
