This feels like a police state with music being a criminal act. Whoever the person is waving his power around needs to be kicked out.

Talk about a nanny state, protecting minority interests, Over zealous officialdom at its worst. We will lose tourist trade to other states who don't have such archaic laws this is 2016 not 1942 .....

This is a joke and should be removed immediately so that we can share our local talent with the locals that appreciate it. I'm always looking for places to play live music that ISN'T the wharf as it's gone downhill.

We want more live music! A Saturday & Sunday live music/jam session should be held weekly at places like Kings Beach, Cotton Tree, La Balsa, Moffat Beach, Peregian etc (in the park) for great family days out; a small cost should be incurred to support the musicians, there can also be food & coffee carts also, even more local night markets--- it would be a great tourism draw card if we combined sun, surf, sand and tunes... and why stop at the coast?! Why not arrange the same in the Hinterland areas of the Region?
In all seriousness, we don't have much culture on the Sunshine Coast these days, I feel it is extremely important to create a new, feel good, positive, laid back culture like we used to have here years ago. Sadly it has been lost. Lets bring it back! Lets be proud to live here! Lets create a positive & uplifting environment! Lets allow our locals to shower us in their creativity and please lets stay as far away as possible from a city lifestyle. We are a coastal community, lets try our best to retain our coastal community identity. Yours truly, one of the locals

I'm in a 3 piece punk rock band just about to start gigging in the next few months, thinking about starting a coastal band scene and I read this!? Dumb people like to be in control and keep the creative people out, how about we try the other way for a change yeah?

There is far too much government red tape and paperwork surrounding live music events
Very Importent to assist local musicians
Another case of high handed beurocrasie gone mad.
