It is ludicrous that a small business should have to pay to provide free free live music on the Sunshine Coast. The Coffee Cat should be applauded for providing a platform for local talent and a great venue for tourists and locals alike.

Tourists are vowing not to return, especially those from Overseas or interstate because they say the Sunshine Coast is dead just when they want to go out and enjoy dining with live music. These antiquated laws are also depriving musicians from earning a survivable living

this issue with live music as been ongoing for well over 20 years on the sunny coast. Time to catch up with the rest of the country and support our creative talents and ensure they have an ongoing career in the music industry.

Although I am in my 80s I love live music. Isn't it time we have this given to us on a silver platter? Let families enjoy instead of just drinking and spending time at the pokies It is a healthy and enjoyable pastime for families. WSe dance we clap, we laugh and sing. What pleasure

Music makes our venues and towns better, and provides jobs! It's created a wonderful community for me that I could never have achieved otherwise.
