Ridiculous it’s the only reason we support the local cafes. There is bigger all entertainment for adults in our community!!! Should we all sit at home and stay on our devices to be social. Get a grip qld government and stop nannying this state it destroys community culture

I think it's a disgrace to change live music from a cafe due to some stupid law,

Music & the Arts is the cultural lifeblood of any society, and especially a creative region like the Sunshine Coast. We need more of it, which creates the flow on effects of more activity and employment. We need less counter-productive red tape and more common sense.

Politicians often flap their gums about how they support local business and the arts. Unfortunately they think we believe them. This situation proves they are only interested in revenue wherever they can get it. This is ridiculous red tape.

Live music at venues such as this is what is missing from the Sunshine coast... should be easier and cheaper.. and why an acoustic report?? the venue opens onto the beach!!! Just let the talent be heard!

This is ridiculous, why make it so hard for local, small businesses to support other locals!!! Get off your high horse and stop money grabbing!

Its ridiculous the money grubbing that goes on by government officials. Its sunday arvo live acoustics not a full blown metallica concert!

We need more opportunities for musicians to show-case their talent WITHOUT having to cost the venues a fortune.

We need to change the laws to allow venues to provide entertainment. This supports local artists and provides families places to go that are enjoyable.

Stop making it hard for businesses to survive. This cafe plays quiet tasteful music that compliments the area appropriately.

Small business has to pay while corporations are never penalised. Not a level playing field.

What a shame it would be to not be able to offer great atmosphere to all of the tourists and locals on the Sunshine Coast. Too much red tape
