Jerry, I met you at the Hollywood farmers market. Unbeknownst to me, I had already been following you for a while before you told me who you were. My partner and I walked up in need of some sausage for the weekend and I asked if the hat you were wearing was just because you liked it, or if you were actually a Sox fan. Low and behold, we have a 15 minutes conversation about back home and chatting with you that day actually brightened my mood. People from Portland are plenty nice, but having a genuine interaction with someone who is also from Chicago just brings me back home. I have been dying to try your pizza. Bridge City has been holding me over in the meantime, but I hope to see your brick and mortar become a reality. Looking forward to beers and za. Go Sox, go Bears, go Bulls, and Hawks. Take care!

I am a proud resident of SE and live on Clinton Street. I fully support Jerry punting the money men and embracing community in Portland. The world needs more Jerrys and I can’t wait to become a regular.
