Help turn the old Night Light Lounge into Jerry’s Tavern- a neighborhood spot where all are welcome

I have been dreaming about Jerry’s weekly since my first and only pizza, the day before his pop-up ended. I’m from Chicago and had somehow forgotten that this is what pizza is supposed to be like - thin crust, balanced sauce, cut in squares, absolute perfection. Don’t believe the people that say deep-dish is the thing, it’s all about the tavern style. The corner of 21st and Clinton needs some new life brought in and what better thing than a friendly, delicious pizza joint.

We moved to the PNW from Chicagoland 5 years ago and love everything about it. However, there had been a Chicago tavern-style pizza-sized hole in our hearts… until we had Jerry’s pizza. It is actually an improvement on most of the pizza we grew up on. On top of being the creator of heavenly, cheese-covered perfection, our conversations with him revealed Jerry to be just a great guy. Friendly, knowledgeable, hardworking and totally authentic. The guy deserves a shot to bring his dream to life in Portland and Portland deserves what he creates!
