Awareness re: this nightmare disease needs to be raised on a much larger scale, like the Ice Bucket Challenge for ALS. Donations for research need to be received from sources on a much grander scale than just from us in the HD community. Why not recruit the Woodie Guthrie family, or Julie Andrews (she had a friend who had HD) to help advocate for us? Turn Chicago Blue is a good start.

Huntington's disease has hit my family my mom had it i have two brother's who has/had it which i've all ready lost one brother to this disease and i know that one of my sister's had it.Even though she was never tested. I have a chance of getting it and that really scares me. I am a CNA and have the people i work with don't understand what this Huntington's Disease is. there needs to be more awareness out there so yes please light up Chicago skyline with the Royal Blue for all are family's.
