As long time residents who recently got another home in New York we support our public safety officers and believe they deserve the equipment needed. Do your job elected officials and stand up for the people and help the police and fire department with basic equipment!!!!

As the spouse of an officer, I urge this effort to be passed and am appalled that this has gone to these extremes to get basic equipment replaced. Think it's time to rethink our officials representing us and bring in new people who have one's directly effected by decisions made. Look out for those who protect us!
