Health care should not be dictated by people who know nothing about the patient's injury/sickness. Only a physician should be able to determine what tests and level of care the patient needs.

We would benefit from this law as well— my son has been denied several needed tests (genetics) and instead are allowing multi organ failure.

Yes! Insurance companies need to be held accountable for their policies and denials based on a chart review. Further they have physicians making decisions who have no direct knowledge of the topic, injury/illness, or patient.

There is no question that someone should be able to receive the care that is prescribed to them by a doctor. If the care or treatment or facility is deemed necessary, then it is the job of the insurance company to provide that without hassle.

Never signed a petition faster in my life. Insurance is a leech that only exists to inflate prices and deepen its own pockets.
