Help Strays in Crete

Please support this issue

I've seen with my own eyes the stray cat - and dog - issue. Now it not the time to stop helping these animals.

Great vets and great people helping in Crete it's so important to help the animals to keep,the numbers low so they are all safe.

The animals here need all the help they can get. Thank You.

I lived on Crete for several years. This is a huge,terrible problem. Please support this cause.

I hate seeing the cats with brown noses waiting for food at the bins and to go through all the rubbish. But it is the dogs running around with no hope of finding food or water really that make me feel so bad about living here.

Help the animals

The problem will just get bigger if effective action is not takn.

Something has to be done for these poor animals. It breaks your heart to read how so many get abandoned.

We have 5 strays which we have rescued.

How worthwhile and valuable is this programme

Poisoning them makes it worse, have a proper neutering programme otherwise it is too stressful to come on Greece on holiday to look at sick animals everywhere

I never ever make holidys in Krete till the situation for animals is getting better

This valuable service is provided by volunteers. How can it cost the local authority anything?

Is there a way to support the local effort directly? I didn't see a link to an associated group but would love to have one.
