Help stop the DCDSB from moving our grade 7-8 Students to High School

Why is this the only option being discussed, the article reports other options are being reviewed, why aren't these mentioned in the article? Is it because the decision has already been made and these meetings are just a formality???

Totally unacceptable. Tax dollars will go to public board along with my kids.

Honestly, I don't see how moving grade 7/8 to HS will solve the issues. I know several parents who will choose the public school system over that option! Totally counter-productive! My eldest who just started Grade 9 is already planning how to get out of his Catholic HS to avoid going to school with his brother in Grade 7! We live close to our elementary school so our kids did not have to be bused and if this changes-it defeats the purpose. Very disappointed after attending the last meeting-as were many many parents!

Disagree with grades 7-12 at All Saints & changing elementary to FDK -6. Kids too young to be with grades 9-12, distance too far, not comfortable busing, driving would be an issue (timewise/work) etc. if happens may have to consider changing schools to public in grade 7 so the kids are close to home and not in this situation (grades 7-12).

I am not in favour of moving Gr 7 to All Saints and would pull my kids out of the Durham catholic school board if this were in fact passed.

All Saints simply cannot logistically accommodate all of these new, & younger, kids. It is already a small high school, & my teens will lose out on their experiences there by suddenly having to share common spaces and resources. I also don't want my youngest thrown in to the high school environment at such an early age, & want her to finish off her elementary years at St. Lukes. I feel strongly that the kids on both ends of this situation would suffer from such a change.

I am against moving the gr. 7 & 8's out of elementary school and moving them to high school. I feel that there are other cost-effective options and that a catholic high school in Brooklin is needed.

I will not send allow the DDCSB to send my kids to the high school early. I will move them to elementary school and my financial support along with it.

we too will move to the DDSB if decision is made to move grade 7 and 8 Catholic students to high school. It's stressful for a grade 9 students to start high school, let alone children in grade 7 & 8. Yes, children.

Think its the most stupidest thing I have ever heard...There is going to be issues with so many Drop outs because the kids are not comfortable with the Older Kids & Tons of Issues with Bulling ...If its gonna happen Sept /2017 sucks cause my son wont graduate with his Friends of the 10 years of being there .

Thats All We Need ..Makes No sense at all ...I Guess they want to Deal With More Bulling Issues.... I guess Its Time to Get My Last Child out of Catholic Board Before that Happens.......The Kids at That Age are not even Fully Developed ..emotional not prepared.... !!
