Cindy. You got to go. These accounts date back YEARS and I graduated in 2014. You should not be around children. Your racist remarks were heard by all of us. Your disapproval of Obama was made clear to us daily. It’s time you gtfo of education.

As a neighbor, I do not want my young neighbors being taught that racism is ok, that some of them are lesser than others (Hey Animal Farm). Our children deserve quality education and studies show that the more education and after school programs they get, the less police presence we need. So we don't need someone like Cindy in our schools.

It is the duty of any public educational institution to provide a safe learning environment and to create equal and equitable opportunities for all of its students. While teachers may be entitled to their own political beliefs just like anyone else, they cannot be considered fit for their occupation if they consistently and systematically deny groups of students a safe and equal environment. Wylie ISD has a duty to ensure that its teachers foster a healthy, safe, and supportive learning environment and to remove any and all teachers who cannot or will not do so. The allegations from over ten years of alumni made in this petition and the comments to it strongly illustrate the consistently hostile situation that has been allowed to persist at WHS and that has affected so many of the school's students of color, LGBTQ+ students, students of faiths other than
Protestant Christianity or students of no faith, and other marginalized and/or minority groups. I was in Ms. Anderson's class in 2007 and discrimination in her classroom was well-known among students and other teachers. I regret that I did not advocate for my friends and peers as I should have as a student.
