Cindy Anderson should not be teaching. Racist, sexist, homophobic, misogynistic, and so much more.

Teachers who don’t support ALL of their students regardless of background should NOT be teachers. Fire this woman before she ruins the psyche of any other young adult.

Dr Vinson sent an email today on how inclusive The Wylie Way is... problem is that they’re only inclusive if you’re a white Baptist.

this woman has been bullied students for 10+ years that’s don’t fall into her favorable group. from class to race to orientation she’s vocally made inappropriate comments for an educator. this is long overdue, Wylie ISD needs to do better.

Cindy Anderson does not need to have the position in students like where can influence them to belief her racist opinions. She has had far too much influence, and has caused far too much pain in hurt in the lives of colored students.

Teachers are some of the most important figures of authority in a young student’s life. A teacher is meant to encourage and support students. I know that I have met wonderful and compassionate teachers who have helped guide me to my success. There should be no acceptable time, place, or reason for a teacher to bully and discriminate immigrants and blacks. This behavior encourages other students to bully the discriminated students. It also breeds distrust in the discriminated students towards people of authority. It is the duty of the school to protect the students and it has seemed that the school, in an attempt to avoid losing a teacher, has chosen to ignore discriminatory and offensive injustice done to students. These are children we are talking about, whatever her opinions are, these are children, she is in charge of their care and development, both academically and in morals. While people have a “right to their opinion” no one has the right to harm the wellbeing and mental health of a child. Please, remember that for some, school is an escape from home life, do not make your school environment toxic. Please, acknowledge the power that a teacher has in the development of children, do you really want to breed discrimination and racism in your school?

This behavior should never be tolerated by anyone, especially an educator.

This goes back over 20 years. I had her in 99-00. She is an awful person, and I'm sorry you were in her class, too.

2014 graduate. The descent to her basement classroom was like going into the chamber of secrets. Only the secrets are her daily pandering “journal prompts” and she is the giant snake gunning for her preferred demographic. So embarrassing if WHS continues to choose these out dated Jim Crow era values over the students they are trusted and paid to protect.

She should have been fired a long time ago! It’s unfortunate that so many teachers get away with acting the way she did bc she’s “friends” with other teachers/ the principle

Wylie needs to take ACCOUNTABILITY for the role they played and continue to play in systemic racism. These schools exude racism and carry a racist undertone. This is an utter shame.

I went to Wylie High School from from 2002-2006 with the exception of spending my second semester at Sachse High School.
I was a ROTC nerd and definitely not considered a cool kid so I was also bullied by Cindy Anderson. I skipped that class more than any other class my junior year. My worst experience with her was after a good friend of mine and fellow ROTC nerd died. Shortly after his death she was bragging to the class about how her journalism article about him was published by the Wylie Newspaper and knowing that him and I were close, she asked for my opinion. The article had his name incorrect so I told her that he didn’t go by “Roy” he went by “Ray”. Her response was to tell me that I apparently didn’t know him that well because the article was correct. This was in front of the whole class. I told her I carried his casket and his name is Ray as I walked out of class crying. I transferred schools after that.
Cindy Anderson is a vile human being that should not be shaping the minds of anymore kids. She’s done enough damage.
Fire her.
