It’s unfortunate reading all of your own experiences with Anderson. She embarrassed me in her class multiple times, telling the class that my essays had to have been all done within a few minutes. There’s critiquing, and then there’s harassment. I honestly thought she just didn’t like me. I actually remember her compare a colored student to a white student in the class, and judged her writing based off the books that she read. Mind you, in front of the entire class. We were all of 16yrs old. However even then, I knew that was wrong.

Yeah, I remember her actively being a bully to kids of all races, if you were pretty she would chase you down and grab you by the arm for PDA, shirt being untucked, not wearing a belt, or having only half of your buttons buttoned... As a white student I know many of the students of color had issues with her. I never had her as a teacher, but I remember my run ins with her and I remember what all the other students said about her.... Idk why she still has a job... A teacher this problatic shouldn't be a teacher.

I have a black son entering Wylie High school in the fall. I do not want his introduction to high school to be marred with the presence of such hatred and bigotry. My son, and daughter who follows him, deserve a safe environment free from this type of disgusting mentality.
