Help Save Wimbledon Village Flower Stall

The Stand is so important to the village!

Please save the flower stand

Please do not isolate our community by doing this. In these hard times we need to support each other. More so now than ever. They have been an integral part of our community.

Dear Wimbledon Council, don't be like West Oxfordshire Council, have a heart and lay off the bureaucracy!

If the council truly wants to support small businesses allowing the set up to remain over night would be any easy way to show that, common sense needs to prevail.

Please don’t do the disservice to Wimbledon. Village and help close this fantastic shop Merton Council

We can’t lose another wonderful local business that provides our community with wonderful service. There’s other options than closing them down, let’s be understanding and respectful of hard work

What reason does the council give for night time removal of this stall?

Also a local councillor fully behind this important community asset.

The heart of the village, please be human and think about what they give and bring to the village.

We need to keep the stall open. It adds to the attraction of Wimbledon. Welcoming visitors. It lifts the mood of residents going and returning from work or a day out. More flowers and shrubs should be planted in the area too.

Please don’t let this lovely flower stall go from the village.

Seeing the kiosk always cheers me up when I shop in the village and it adds welcome visual diversity to the high street landscape

What’s the point of removing it overnight?

I hope after 20 years, the council can come up with a solution so they can stay
