Save the flower stand - why should it be taken down each night - what is the rationale?

This is an important institution in Wimbledon Village and would be such a shame if this became a victim of red tape:

The Stand is a vital part of the Wimbledon Village life. Supporting a small business is important to most of us - better than multinationals taking over the whole high street!

Please allow The Stand to remain as a permanent fixture in Wimbledon Village - it is a beautiful sight throughout the year and a thriving independent business which draws visitors to the village and to other businesses. Allowing it to remain in situ rather than having to take it down every evening will do no harm to anyone, and will allow the business to survive.

I agree this is a lovely addition to the village that should not be curtailed by red tape pen pushers justifying a wage at the council. What is the harm of leaving it out or real danger??

The kiosk is not a hazard or causing obstruction. Unnecessary action which will impact your the small business & residents negatively
