I have lived in Lexington my whole life. Charles Volpe was one of my best friends. He would still want the river running and for everyone to have fun.

We kyaking there every year and have absolutely no problems with the dam! We plan our trips either to the dam or from it. Take it down and there won't be enugh water to flush a toilet with. Makes no sense to waste the money for a project that doesn't help with anything!
