It would be a tragedy to lose The Little People Place it's has a very special place in my heart for the simple reason I'm a Treme baby and I grow up with the family that owns that place. So losing The Little People bar would really be like losing a family member.

Hopefully, the complaint with the ATC will prove invalid and this landmark will continue to garner its historical significance, in the Treme'.

It's such a great local place. I used to send tourists up there because everyone was so friendly. They make sure nervous people can get cabs home, always welcoming, and unlike anything else in the city

Keep going, and keep this beautiful piece of history alive. To take away a community's meeting place is to not care about where you live. Someone that doesn't care, shouldn't live there.

These attacks by the state have been going on for decades against Little People's Place. The ATC is particularly used as an arm of the state to deny democratic rights to people and small businesses, particularly Black owned establishments. The ATC is also a despicable white supremacist arm of the state whose leadership sleeps in bed with the same oppressive white ruling class millionaires, especially the hotel and business operators of the French Quarter. That is why the ATC does not assault or deny rights to the 'Big Places' (the Big Exploiters and Thieves) because it is a tool of the rich oppressors and their state. Our slogan should be "For the Right of Self-Determination for the African American People - Up to and Including the Right to Secession"

Somebody must really want this property! The essence of New Orleans live in places like this and it's only a few of them that are still here for Natives to enjoy. It's my hope that Little Peoples will be spared by the gentrification gods! #SaveLittlePeoples

We need to preserve historical places in New Orleans or it will not be the place that people fall in love with in the first place.

Leave these long-lived "institutions" alone. Surely al those years are more important than one person's complaint!
