Loo and I were planning on moving to Hastings as soon as the house was done being remodeled. I guess now, I'll have to remain homeless and drive 78 miles to work everyday. Thanks a lot, Dakota County Commissioners! I don't think that AFSCME will be endorsing any of you in the near future!!!

Dakota County has told us for the past 2 years that they only buy property from willing sellers. Well, we are definitely not willing sellers and they completely lied to us.

Dakota County should NOT take what is NOT theirs. I have very fond memories of my time staying with the Mauch family when I was young. We had the greatest times take the boat out on the water, sledding down the long, bounding drive and simply enjoying the peaceful beauty out there. Dakota County needs to find another way. This family is not interested in selling. They enjoy their property and should be able to enjoy it for years to come with their family now and all the babies to come.

Please save our land. This has been a very heartbreaking time for all of us. It isn't just acerage to us. It is a very unique piece of land and very sentimental to all of our family. Thank you for your support.

There is not a significant enough need for this "taking" to allow it to happen. It will be taken off of the tax roles too... so there will be no benefit from this

They say Iminent Domain is "for the greater good." But when individual rights are infringed upon, there is no "greater good" because no one is immune. Those who enforce ID are those who deny it will ever happen to them or their familes. This is down right Socialist and last I checked, this was not a Socilist country, but it seems to be getting closer and closer. Please help!

Wow! the country im fighting for is doing this to my close friends. Seems like they are treating the Drews family like Indians and just taking the land that they want to keep... i will help anyway i can! That land is a Paradise!!!
