This is just wrong. This could happen to any of us. I believe eminent domain is wrong on just about any way you look at it. If they take this property I will never spend another dime in Dakota County again.

Taking of private property Is wrong on many different levels! One can only hope that those who support this behavior someday suffer the same consequences!

This is the same county, buying up all this land, that said they could not afford to fix Dodd Road in Lakeville after the last high school student was killed on it, but boy do they buy land up and build magnificent buildings for themselves!

Let the family keep their property this is outrageous to insult them with a low dollar amount. This is 10 acres on the lake... Keep fighting this is YOURS!!

I totally agree...if the county did not want it, you would never be forced to sell it. If it was your choice to sell it you could set the price...not the government. Look at what government did to Native Americans though and apparently can continue to do to any persons land they want!!!
