Rodeo has been a piece of our lives for many generations. Too many things are being taken away from us by protestors. It's time that enough is enough.

Rodeo is a vital part of our heritage. The stock keepers of the steers treat them so good. These steers are highly monitored by veterinarians and the steers are a part of the ranchers lively hood. I've never seen anyone mistreat the rodeo animals and I am very involved with rodeos.

Rodeo isn't just a circus, it's a way of life that has been our culture for many years. Now a days so much research has gone into the care of these animals that there looked after like the modern day human athlete or even better in most cases.

I have been attending the rodeo and fair for over 30 years, its a wonderful experience for anyone to attend and there is absolutely no harm induced on the live stock. These animals are peoples lively hood and are treated with care, respect and love. I wonder what the protesters eat?

Rodeos in Canada are well regulated. They do not neglect these animals nor endanger them. The organizations that feel different are falsifying documents and events. We are a diverse country. I love my country and the reason we need to hold on to our rodeos. Rodeos are part of OUR heritage. I support BC/Canadian rodeos 100%.

The folks saying there's abuse in rodeo need to get out from behind their computers, drive out of the city and come see the sport, the people and the animals in person. These folks do more to help animals than the Vancouver Humane Society ever will. It might not always be gentle, (Mother Nature herself rarely is), but it's not abuse.

They take amazing care of all animals. What a freaking shame if they take this away. The fair has become a joke since they don't have the carnival and the only way you will see me pay to go to the annual fair is if they keep the rodeo. After all its an agricultural fair and that includes rodeo.

People should learn and understand the positive results which children learn from the sport of rodeo. I invite you to go to a rodeo and see the positive relationships, life skills Along with good sportsmanship and stockmanship. Have an open mind and truly see that competitors and contractors do their best to keep animals safe sound and healthy
