Rodeo life is so much more than what one sees at an event. The care of livestock is so important but look beyond and see all the elements of life it teaches. Talk to the experts who are living the life if you have concerns. You wouldn't have your friend do brain surgery... why would you listen to people who have no idea about livestock! I don't even know why this subject is being addressed. Know the facts, talk to experts and please channel your need to be heard on more pressing problems.

Rodeos have given my kids a confidence in themselves that they wouldn't have anyway else. It brings out passion,character, and respect for animals and others.
