This needs to be saved! The animals are treated extremely well and they take every measure necessary to ensure that the animals are not harmed.

These animals are extremely well cared for to keep on the top condition the need to be for these sports. These sports are many people's whole lives and have a rich history on this continent. And where do you draw the line, next are they going to be telling us we can't ride horses anymore? If you shut down rodeo sports you decrease the demand for rodeo animals and many horses will get sent to slaughter or neglected that would otherwise have a job and be extremely well taken care of.

I work as a volunteer at the chilliwack rodeo and have been doing so since I was 10-12 years of age I have made some many friends and made so many memories at this event. We take pride in giving a good show to the residents of chilliwack and providing the most care to both animal and female/ male performers. I hope that we can save this rodeo as I hope to work there for many years to come and have the chance to have my kids help me as volunteers as I have helped my dad. So I hope we can save this rodeo and have many more years of great rodeo preforming athletes to come through chilliwack and give the citizens of chilliwack and great weekend of performance thank you.
