This is a valuable and necessary service on a busy road where cars often speed. Brian is needed to prevent an accident.

My son used to go school here before we left the area. He always loved to run ahead a speak to Brian of a morning and afternoon! Brian was always happy and asking how we was! Lovely man he would be missed so much by the school and kids. Some older kids walk home with friends and I know parents only allow this as they know they will cross the main road with Brian so without him they would have to lose there independence and start walking home with there parents again.

Brian is an essential part of our community, I do not understand how our criteria has suddenly changed when we have growing numbers of children attending the school and traffic is just crazy down guys farm road .

My children use this crossing on bike or foot to get to school in the town centre. This piece of road is a bus route and is next to a coach depot with a lot of parked cars. Keep Brian!

Do you want a child to get killed by removing him.

Absolutely absurd decision. Cars drive ridiculously fast along that road and not only that Brian is more than just a lollipop man looking over everyone on any school run keeping children safe.

Absolutely a very bad decision made by ECC. A fatality will occur if this decision is not recinded. This is a very busy road and not having the lollipop man will be a grave mistake.

I can't believe that you are getting rid of the lollipop man in such a busy road. Ridiculous.
