Ridiculous decision! So many people use that crossing where BRIAN is. To remove him will be a stupid decision that will put lives at risk. Rethink needed urgently.

The lollipop personnel do great work for very little money throughout the year in all weathers. We need them, so keep them.

Brian provides a very valuable service for all the children at Elmwood. The parked cars and busy junction make the road dangerous for crossing. I'm sure there is another way of saving such a small amount of money that doesn't affect the many children who are so fond of their lollipop man.

Brian has helped my children cross the road for the 9 years we have lived here, without him being their I dread to think how unsafe it would be for children crossing at this busy junction. - with the coaches, buses, dustbin men, school traffic, vans etc. We need our crossing patrol to ensure our children arrive safely at school..

We use the crossing 4 times a day!! The road is busy and lots of children walk to school on their own using Brian the lolly pop man.

Brian is providing a key service, helping both children and adults avoid serious injury and even a fatality . The council need a rethink on this. On the grand scheme of things how much money will the council save???? They could save a few quid but someone could come to harm.

Mr Collins is a wonderful asset to this town and a much needed resource. I have taken my grandchild to school at Elmwood School and without our lollypop man the children and the parents, grandparents would be in danger. The road is very busy with parked cars and businesses and less than careful drivers. So save our Lollypop man.

I've seen an accident on Ferrers rd wen our lollipop man was on holiday, she is lucky to b alive. Pls dnt let someone else go thro it.
