Brian is a fabulous lolly pop man - his role is essential to the children's safety, can not beige be you are sacking him

I live along the road that Brian works, my garden gate leads directly on to the road. The speed limit here is always breached and my young son and I have on many occasions been hit. Brian is much needed and slows the traffic at set times in the day, it's just a shame he can't be there all the time. To take him away is risking lives of the public for what, to save a few quid!

This is an appalling decision made by ECC, and needs to be overturned immediately!!

He is a lovely guy. Always polite and is a great help with crossing as it can be a busy road.

I live on Hullbridge Road and we experience cars exceeding the speed limit at all times of the day. He would me missed and more so when a child is hit by a car.

Would be a name for the school to loose someone that is there for the children's safety who has been a part of the community for so long

Such an important role in the mornings and afternoons. A lolly pop role helps in reducing risk and a vital role in the community. Don't cut service's, when where paying the same tax. I hope this doest happen.

How stupid is it to stop a lollipop man. It's a school someone will end up getting run over or killed. Also probably gives the lollipop man/ lady something to look forward to each day .

There are no speed bumps down the road and cars whizz down there trying get to the train station. Also there is a coach company right by where he stands what if a child got hit!

Very poor decision by ECC. This is an extremely busy road and Brian has seen children and their parents safely across this road for 15 years. No ifs or buts, a lollipop man is essential at this location.
