Save our remaining beaches

Local beach access for our local neighborhood, please keep it that way.

My grandmother took me to swim here when I was a kid. Now I'm taking my grandchildren here to swim.

My wife and I purchased our home on Neeley Road about 11 years ago and have made frequent use of this public beach. It is very important that access be maintained.

Jenny - Thanks for leading the efforts on this. I have signed and want to help out as much as I can.

Our grandchildren are the 5th generation swimming at our beach.

Sad shame we have to go through all this because of one lousy neighbor. This has been a public beach, and river access, for over 90 years. We have photos of our family using the beach for the past four generations.

I support continued public access to the beach in the Vacation Beach neighborhood.

Save the Beach!!

Let’s get the deal done. Some people have access to the beach like they have for five generations at least.

Save our special neighborhood river spot. My son and my grandchildren all learned to swim here. We’ve enjoyed this spot most of our life’s. Hasn’t been pleasant at times when Our unfortunate neighbor decided he can block access. With less and less open space and neighborhood river access it would be a terrible loss for all of us who live and love it here.

Public access to the river must be preserved!

Wait hold on. One of those is an easement and beach access. That needs to be kept public, if for nothing else but a wildlife corridor. Lets not forget that wildlife need water too, and without access to the river all the deer which keep the fire danger at bay along with desertification will go elsewhere. Wildlife makes this neighborhood, and the world in general, a beautiful place to live. There's no reason to privatize an easement, and up to the high water mark is public anyway. Please be logical and set up easements and wildlife corridors to the beach every 2 miles.

This beach is for locals only, of which I am one. I really think that locals should be able to visit this beach and enjoy this place where tourists rarely visit.

Everyone should be able to use the beaches…coastal zone commission has the say…

Access to the Russian River is absolutely crucial for every neighborhood. We have too many homeowners and folks like the previous owners of Johnson beach who feel it’s all right to cut off access. We cannot allow that to happen. This is where the county should be spending its money. What about open space money is that available?

Please make this purchase in order to preserve the public access.
