Vacation Beach is a part that makes us a vacation wonderland!

we need more public access to the river

We have owned a property and used the local beach for the past decade and our neighbors have been here since 1962 and have always had unfettered access to this beach. It's a local treasure and provides equitable access to using the river to all of us who live in vacation beach but do not have a riverfront property. This needs to remain a public access space.

As a resident of Vacation Beach, I fully support this initiative to preserve public access to the river.

We residents of the area continue to need access to the Russian River beach areas in multiple places.Especially those of us not living directly on the river and those of us exhausted by the noise and crowds of tourists that flock to the river.

This is a beautiful beach accessed by locals for many years. People in the neighborhood have a fierce sense of pride in our community and that includes care and consideration for our natural environment and resources. For one individual to try and restrict access on a piece of land that has historically been available for many years is just deplorable.

Removing access to this beach from the lower guerneville community, would be a terrible act. It is the largest one of only 2 beaches directly and easily accessible by the local residents. I have personally been on that beach every summer with my friends and their kids, to enjoy some p&q and have a relaxing nice day. Do not close access to this beach.

ive lived on orchard ave. for over 30 years. access via river lane to our local beach has existed for the last 100 years and is an outstanding feature of this neighborhood, one enjoyed by many. it is important to preserve this tradition for generations to come. one person, mark o'flynn, should not be able to stop the entire neighborhood from enjoying our riverfront culture.

I live here and swim at the beach everyday in the summer. I also bring my dog, we all love this beach.

This is our cherished neighborhood beach I was lucky enough to grow up on here in vacation beach since 1965 to present so many find memories. The hinges with no beach in their back yards came together post each winter cleaned up debris pulled weeds invasive non native ofcourse and created a BEAUTIFUL communal gathering spot we ALL enjoyed. That you sweet water now we all hope parks n rec will allow this tradition, to continue, for years to come... THANK YOU IN ADVANCE

This property has provided beach access to my family for years. Don't let a local family privatize public land.

Save our memories. Save our beach for future generations

We purchased our home in 2014 with the understanding that the beach was provided by Sonoma County for all to enjoy. We gather a fish, canoe and sun bath while enjoying the company of other neighbors in the local area. Loosing the opportunity to enjoy this beach and all it has to offer would be unfortunate. Please help us keep this area for all to enjoy.
