- We have made this petition in hopes of being able to keep Chef Krystal Yeager as the culinary arts aide.
- Keeping Chef Krystal Yeager as a lab assistant would benefit Chef Sara Hicks because Chef Hicks will have to learn five years of knowledge in a short amount of time. Such things like: managing the Butler Tech Facebook, managing all FCCLA registration processes, knowing specific requirements of FCCLA events, and going through the proper chain of command for requesting information.
- We would like whomever is in charge of hiring/ firing, to keep Krystal Yeager because of the benefits it would provide Chef Sara and the culinary arts lab in general. Some examples of such things are but not limited to: having a sous chef for Café Lee, having someone knowledgeable to teach Culinary while Chef Sara is unavailable to, getting groceries in emergency situations, running daily errands to make sure that the Culinary Arts program has everything it needs

Chef Yeager is an astounding teacher. I came from a large school but I was one of only 4 students from that school to attend butler tech. Honestly if it weren't for Chef Yeager I probably wouldn't even have made it through the first year. Here I am a couple years later working in a bakery! I owe it all to her. She cares about her students and does whatever she can to take care of them.
Krystal Yaegar is a great chef and an even better teacher. She cared and helped me when no one else noticed I needed a boost. She is one of the most creative chefs I've met and puts forth the time it takes for a student to be great at not only cooking but competition. To this day I have yet to meet many people that have her drive and care as deeply as she does about the students. She is dedicated, well respectable, and pleasant to be around. If butler tech decides to get rid of her they will be loosing a great asset to their school as well as a great person.
My daughter Jessica has been very successful post graduation and Chef Yeager played an intrical part to her success. I would hope future students would be given the same opportunities she makes possible. It is too much to expect one chef to teach. And Chef Yeager knows the system.
She has great knowledge not only in culinary arts but fccla as well. She helped the nee lab instructor for e.c.e to make sure we registered and how to do all the paper work. I wasn't a student in culinary arts so I didn't have her as a teacher, however she has been with BT for years and has a vast knowledge of how everything works im really surprised their considering to fire her.
Chef Yeager is an absolute must in this Program. Without her I would have never had the courage to compete and explore new things in the culinary world. She has so much knowledge to share with the young minds going into this program, and even three years after I graduated she is still teaching me new things. I can honestly say without Chef Yeager I wouldn't of gained the confidence I needed to pursue my career in the culinary industry and also continuing my education at Cincinnati State. Once again I can say from first hand experience that Chef Yeager is detrimental to this program, and to let her go would really hinder the upcoming students in the program. All of her knowledge, and let's not forget about the Yeager packets, is what helped myself and many others pursue our dreams.

Without Chef Yeager this program would lack the necessary amount of hands on work that a culinary program requires. Chef Yeager was a huge part of my high school education. Without her I wouldn't know how to make beautiful food Art, kick Ass at garde manger and rock out while serving at cafe lee. All things that the sous chef at butler tech has excelled at teaching her students. Chef Yeager went through the program herself, she knows what the students want to know, what they need to know. She's also hilarious. Cats make everyone happy. Pulling this position would be silly and a little bit stupid. So keep my favorite chef at butler tech.
