The Monkland festival was a roaring success and should continue.. Local stakeholders should be able to work out a compromise so that a handful of detractors don't derail an even that is enjoyed and supported by tens of thousands.

Monkland street festivals are what bring life to our community, bring people together over food, music and events and give local businesses a chance to interact with potential customers. My kids love the breakdancing and every year we spend at least an hour there. It is a family friendly event and we always run into people we know. For two days, I am surprised this is an issue. Why not make it end earlier so it doesn't disturb people as much if that is the issue?

Seriously best thing in the Neighbourhood all summer .. kids love it, the wife loves .. food trucks are great .. puts NDG on the map.
