Help save Father Johnathan and Vicar Karina Green the priests of St Francis, St Claires and St Albans Church

Although I am roman Catholic I would be very unhappy with our community losing such a kind and compassionate person like Johnathan. There has never been a time when we have needed churches more than we do right now.

We need our vicars in our area. They are a massive part of the community..

There is more need of these fabulous individuals now more than ever before to help the peoples of the parishes.

Please can you release these people, as they are not there to halm anyone. They are religious priests. Not enemy's.

We can’t lose father John . He’s one in a million Celebrated my and my husbands 10th wedding anniversary . Renewed our vows for us And done a gorgeous speak at my husbands funeral last year

I have heard nothing but great things about these vicars from my other half and many more, let's keep signing this and hopefully the right decision will be made to have these 2 vicars carry on there great work in the community

I worked in a care home for the elderly with Dementia and both Jonathan and Karina have been very supportive towards the residents and staff also Jonathan holds communion and services which support all spiritual needs and has been valuable to all residents

I find this so difficult to believe. Give Karina and Jonathan the support they need

I do not understand why our Church of England would want to make clergy redundant. It is so un christian. Is there anywhere in the New Testament that says Jesus made any of his disciples redundant ??? !!! There seems to be no Christian love in this announcement. Jonathan Jeffery (surname spelt different from mine, so no relation) is a brilliant Vicar and many people who do not go to church have said so. He reaches out to everyone and goes beyond what is expected of him. Thinking of Jonathan, his wife Carolyn and his three young children at this difficult time of uncettainty. X

The two priests here are doing sterling work in a tough community; people respond to them, accept them, love them. Let them stay!

having been in the company of Father Jonathan a number of times I, for the life of me, don't understand the position being taken by the Diocese. He represents himself as a man of peace and faith which he shares unselfishly about his parish.

Father Johnathan is a well loved and respected gentleman.He does a lot for everyone.He always has time for young and old alike and needs to keep being able to help and do what he does for everyone

A hard working, much loved Priest - Jonathan is the right man in the right job!

Both vicars do an amazing job for there community they go above and beyond helping and supporting people and families and we all need this and this shouldn't be happening. Save our churches.

I wonder if the diocese understand that the community in Leigh Park placesa different value on the ministry of the church compared to other areas? Being known, seen and valued by the work of these vicars and their churches can not be measured by the weekly attendance on Sundays!

Please take into consideration the demographic needs of the Leigh park community and what value they bring.

They've worked tirelessly for their community and in a time of austerity and doubt are needed more by the parish not less.
