Quench, Xpress and CUTV are doing a wonderful job as it is, and have proven that they are more than capable of operating professionally on an independent basis. In the music industry, we respect them more because of this.

They're fine. Leave them as they are until a proper election occurs which isn't inherently inaccessible and classist.

Senate needs to realise that being officious solves nothing around d students studying in a climate of genuine political turmoil is only going to come back and bite them.
CSM wouldn't exist without it's volunteers, and it's a shame that the majority of Student Senators couldn't undertstand your passion, and reasoning for wanting the role of VP M&M to remain open. It's also a shame that the last two get togethers of Student Senate have resulted in "democracy" being misinterpreted!

As one of the editors of Manchester's student paper, The Mancunion, I care deeply about student media and sympathise with those affected by this decision to hold a by-election. Such a drastic shake-up is entirely unnecessary and can only lead to more disruption and the destabilising of an excellent student media structure.

Because CSU is the most serious, well-structured, organised and amazing society. I love being on it and I think that is running really well...

Student media should be run by students- let it be so.
