Save the wet lands, my family has lived on lake creek from the early 1900's and now have watched natural lakes disappear one by one

Typ. Greedy politicians. We put them there and we can assure you never return.

It's part of Montgomery county heritage everything else is changing can't we have something from the past for the community and the boy scouts that doesn't change, let's tear down the college where you went and move it, or the vacation spot where your family went, I know and everyone else knows it's all about location and revenue for the community ( more tax money ) and just another way to get a bigger piece of pie.

We are in danger of leaving nothing for future generations but a desolate wasteland all in the name of profit. Areas like Camp Strake need to remain wild.

I live at South 336 and I-45. We enjoy seeing the wildlife in the area, especially birds. Numerous owls, woodpeckers, red shouldered hawks, waterfowl, bats and other species I can't identify. It would be a crime to level the area. Urban sprawl is rendering these amazing landscapes with concrete and cars. Designate this area as a natural urban reserve and let the animals flourish.

Consider a gofundme or kickstart campaign. I will share as a scout leader. Best of luck!
