Think of the effects also on environment outside this area if all that natural flood control etc. is destroyed! Save it!!

Think 25 to 50 years down the road. Almost all the wild places are already gone in Montgomery county. Also raising the area will cause massive flooding up the drainage and on other side of river bottom.

Keep the wetlands. They serve a very important function both for wildlife and as part of flood water management. Smarter development is needed not a continuation if the urban sprawl that has been happening.

I was a Boy Scout Committee Chairman and a Scoutmaster and my son and I have campted at Camp Strake. This is one of my favorite camps.
