Help save Camp Strake, the last remaining natural oasis in the region.

This precious, serene area that is a habitat for many of God's precious creatures, including endangered ones, is going to be destroyed for further development of the concrete jungle. Pray that man decides to do what is right.

Any area that used to be set aside for the Boy Scouts to get a piece of nature near Houston should not be developed into another neighborhood. We have enough of those and many other areas that can become neighborhoods. Save a piece of what used to be for future generations to enjoy!!!

I grew up in Conroe. My brother camped as a Boy Scout at Camp Strake in the 70's.. It will be very sad if greedy developers are allowed to destroy what God created & man preserved all these years.

Save it

Save the woods. Me and my kids trap and we always take all the critters over there. Boy scotts loved it

This was supposed to be used by Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts and not turned into another development. George Strake did not donate this land to developers because he wanted it to be enjoyed by Families.

Please save this Oasis. Our kids need to see that we all care for nature.

Do not tear down the woods! Lots of beautiful creatures and nature in general. These woods were here long before us and should be here long before we go!

Sad to see the greed of the City of Conroe. This property is part of a natural ecosystem of wetlands that really should be preserved. All of that area is being developed so you and I can pay higher insurance premiums when this area floods again. It's not if but when!

Please preserve this beautiful place and piece of history.

It is amazing how beautiful Camp Stark is. Sad to see it destroyed in the name of progress. The land would be better used as a nature perserve, wilderness park, state park.

Stop destroying are land the boyscouts need this place plus the wild lime will be listed plus it is good for are eco system

All 3 of my kids camped and worked at Camp Strake. As well as both of my brothers. Keep the land free of development.

Many great memories and lessons/skills learned there, don't deny future generations the same experience.

Lots of great memories from mine and my kids childhood.

We need more parks and nature preserves than malls strip centers or homes.

We need to preserve our wetlands.

If we l rep destroying habitats and ecosystems, eventually we will be eating only vitamins! No fresh veggie nor meat!
