How can we teach our children about nature and all the beauty that lies within if we don't leave some behind?

This would make a great wilderness park for 100's of years. Please don't fill this in with dirt and cover with concrete. PLEASE! Get the youth of our nation off the video games and outside to learn about nature.

We have enough commercial and residential development in this area. This land should be maintained as Mr Strake intended. Turn this land into a govt protected wetlands for educational/species protected park. Local residents need another area to enjoy nature. This is simply greed and needs to be stopped.

I went to Boy Scout camp there 50 years ago. It would be a terrible shame for the camp to disappear. Shame on the city of Conroe.

Been camping there as a Scout since 1974. I know the Scout Council has moved their camp north but it would be a great park for the public to enjoy!

It is part of the heritage of the area and should be left alone.

What a beautiful piece of property! This is what Conroe is known for- please keep the trees in this area so our children can enjoy at least a little bit of natural beauty!
