I am a lifelong resident of Burlington and spent a lot of time on the Island in my youth and to see how far it has come with the cleanup is amazing. It should and needs to be preserved for many generations to come. Great work sign me up...

I was researching cleaner waters to fish out of along the Delaware river. What I found was a natural paradise on the Delaware. If there is an image of a piece of mind, Burlington Island would be it. The lightbulb is lit above my head, I want in.

I have fond memories of spending summer days and nights on the island. It was an oasis of friendships and fun.

Burlington Island is a gem for locals and visitors alike! I visited for the first time last week and was in awe of how beautiful and well-preserved the land is. There's not many places like it left and the island should be protected.

Preservation of lands for posterity should always be the priority. A sanctuary to escape to is more important than many things.
