Wisconsin is one of the worst state's for receiving any kind of justice. I hope they leave him alone.

I was talking with a few local women and they would be more willing to sign the petition if you wrote out exactly what you are looking to get the charges changed to. That way they could know what they are putting their names on. Let me know if you do that.

I understand and thank you. I agree there needs to be consequences but not to the extent the DA is going for.

The courts are full enough. Sentence him to talk to high school students. A felony alluding is harsh.

They should focus more on the other troubles in Waukesha like the gangs and the drugs and let the poor kid have a chance in life.

I'm sorry for your son. Just another example of how power hungry our Govt is vs the old days of truly helping people with issues. No one was harmed. I'm not saying to let him off as what he did was wrong but a felony? Let's make the punishment actually fit the crime!

Tammy, I wish your son the best! The system isnt fair! They dont care . I agree give him a chance to redeem himself. Hopefully you have a lawyer who can really stand by your child. My husband had an incident in 2013 when he had a reaction to a med and was driving. It literally ruined our lives - - they had no sympathy for the situation that we were in. They treated him like a repeat offender and like his life was nothing. The lawyer we paid for did NOTHING to change the situation as it was all in the statutes ahead of time. They go by the books not by the person. You will be in my prayers.

It's not that serious, let the kid off. Lessons learned. Calm down Waukesha circuit court he's just a boy.

Give this teenager a fighting chance. Don't label him as a felon. He made a mistake, but not one that should label him forever. I lesser punishment, even community service would make an impact on him

We all have made some bad decisions in our lives. Please don't make an example out of this young man if this is his first offense. Don't charge him as an adult. Give him a chance to redeem himself.

A felony is a mark on your future forever in Ye respect he did wrong but don't punish him for the rest of his life!

I'm infuriated that a CHILD is being charged as an adult. The court system needs to take a step back, and look at this case as an individual, as every case should be. This young man deserves his rights to be granted to him.

Our justice system has stopped looking for the actual truth, and has lost the compassion and mercy it was founded upon. It's a shame a kid with no history of criminal behavior would have to face this.
